About Van Beers

Van Beers was founded in 1954 as a specialised shoemaking atelier and has grown into a trusted partner for historical, ceremonial and entertainment footwear.

From our workshop in the Netherlands, we have been designing and producing high-quality shoes and boots for decades. What started as traditional craftsmanship has evolved into a combination of expertise, experience and flexibility.

Over the years, Van Beers has worked with a wide range of clients, including guilds, dance groups, theatres and film productions. Our strength lies in creating footwear that combines authentic appearance with comfort and durability.

In our atelier, experienced shoemakers carefully craft each pair. From the selection of premium leather to the final finishing, every detail reflects our commitment to quality.

Van Beers specialises in medieval shoes, historical boots, guild shoes and uniform shoes. Many of our products are made to order or customised to meet specific requirements.
